License Agreement (EULA)

Last updated: February 2026

This End-User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("User") and ShootCleaner ("Licensor") for the use of the ShootCleaner desktop application and all associated documentation ("Software"). By installing or using the Software, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.

1. Grant of License

Subject to the terms of this Agreement, ShootCleaner grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

  • Install and use the Software on the number of devices permitted by your purchased license tier.
  • Make one backup copy of the Software for archival purposes.
  • Receive updates and patches as made available during your license or care plan period.

2. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Copy, redistribute, or sublicense the Software to third parties.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Software, except as expressly permitted by applicable law.
  • Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the Software.
  • Remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or branding within the Software.
  • Use the Software to build a competing product or service.
  • Share or transfer your license key to another individual or entity.

3. Ownership and Intellectual Property

The Software is licensed, not sold. ShootCleaner retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all intellectual property rights. This Agreement does not grant you any ownership rights to the Software. All trademarks, service marks, trade names, and logos associated with ShootCleaner are the property of ShootCleaner.

4. Updates and Support

Updates availability depends on your license type:

  • Lifetime license: includes all updates released during the major version you purchased. Future major versions may require a separate purchase or upgrade.
  • Subscription plans: include all updates for the duration of your active subscription.
  • Care plan: optional extended support and update coverage available as an add-on.

5. Termination

This Agreement is effective until terminated. ShootCleaner may terminate this Agreement immediately if you breach any of its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and destroy all copies in your possession. Termination does not entitle you to a refund unless otherwise required by applicable law.

6. Warranty Disclaimer

The Software is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. ShootCleaner disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. ShootCleaner does not warrant that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall ShootCleaner be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, profits, or business opportunities — arising out of or in connection with this Agreement or your use of the Software. ShootCleaner's total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Software license.

8. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the European Union and the applicable member state in which ShootCleaner operates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in that jurisdiction.
