1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using ShootCleaner ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Software. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Definitions

  • "Software" refers to the ShootCleaner desktop application, all associated updates, and related documentation.
  • "User" or "You" refers to any individual or entity that downloads, installs, or uses the Software.
  • "License" refers to the right granted to you to use the Software under these Terms.
  • "Services" refers to the Software, website (https://www.shootcleaner.com), and any related services provided by ShootCleaner.

3. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and valid payment, ShootCleaner grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software on the number of devices permitted by your license tier. This license is for your personal or internal business use only.

4. Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Software.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, except where permitted by applicable law.
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks on the Software.
  • Use the Software to develop a competing product or service.
  • Share, transfer, or sublicense your license key to any third party.
  • Circumvent any technical limitations or access controls built into the Software.

5. Payment

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are displayed in USD unless otherwise indicated. You are responsible for any applicable taxes. Subscription plans renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Lifetime licenses are a one-time purchase and do not renew.

6. Refunds

We offer a 14-day refund policy from the date of purchase. Refund requests must be submitted via email to our support team. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. See our full Refund Policy for details and exceptions.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your license at any time if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and delete all copies. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, warranty disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will remain in effect.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShootCleaner and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the Software. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Software in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the applicable member state in which ShootCleaner operates. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
